New Series this Sunday:  The Gospel According to Isaiah 53

There is a chapter in the Bible that accurately predicts in shocking detail what happened to Jesus Christ 700 years before He came. Not only does it predict the future, the prediction details the most important fact in all of human history with incredible accuracy.  This exciting series will begin this Sunday.  If you know of anyone who is skeptical about Jesus Christ, the Bible, or the Gospel, this will be an incredible, and potentially life changing study.  Make plans to be with us this Sunday, and bring someone with you!

Welcome Miles Scarboro!  Pizza Party Sunday Night!
If you were here last week you heard about our new pastoral staff member, Miles Scarboro.  He will be in our services Sunday and will be working with our students in our student ministry.  We will be having a pizza party after the Family Service to welcome him to Trinity Baptist.  We’re encouraging people to bring him a card to make him feel welcome as well.  Come join us for our 5pm Family Service and the pizza party afterwards!

Send Conference Coming October 23-26. Mark your calendars!
Our memory verse this past week was Acts 1:8 which says, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”  Jesus was sent by the Father to the uttermost so that we can be saved.  He now calls us to go and to send people to make disciples to the ends of the earth.  Each year we have a conference where we emphasize this important work in our and through our church.  This year we are calling that conference the “Send Conference”.  We have 4 missionary families coming that will be speaking to us over the course of the 4-day conference.  Please make plans now to be with us for this important event.

Annual Missions Auction Coming October 16, 2022

Each year our church holds an auction to support a missions project somewhere around the world.  Our missions auction will be held on Sunday Oct. 16th during the 5pm evening service. We are asking our church family to start to bring your new purchased or handmade items to room 207 by October 9th.  All adult Sunday School classes will be asked to make a themed basket to be auctioned off again this year.  Thanks so much for your involvement!
