That You May Believe Series: Session 28 – The Light of Jesus Identity

Is Jesus really who He claims to be? In John 8, Jesus declares, “I am the light of the world,” making a powerful statement about His identity and His relationship with God the Father. This article examines three important truths about Jesus: His identity is clear, His identity is confirmed, and His identity is consequential. Jesus did not merely claim authority—His words were supported by the Father’s testimony, His miraculous works, fulfilled prophecy, eyewitness accounts, and His resurrection from the dead. The evidence points to Jesus as the promised Messiah, the Son of God, and the only way to salvation. But knowing facts about Jesus is not enough. His credentials demand a personal response. Discover what the Bible teaches about who Jesus is, why His claims can be trusted, and why placing your faith in Him brings forgiveness, eternal life, and hope.
