Choosing Sides – Who Will You Serve?
In this sermon from Joshua 24, we examine one of Scripture’s clearest calls to commitment and devotion. As Joshua nears the end of his life, he gathers Israel and reminds them of God’s faithfulness, provision, and fulfilled promises. Then he presents a choice: will they serve the Lord wholeheartedly, or will they follow other gods and competing loyalties? Joshua teaches that genuine faith requires reverence for God, sincere devotion, and a commitment to truth. He challenges the people to reject false gods, renew their allegiance to the Lord, and establish lasting reminders of their decision. The sermon explores how every believer faces similar choices today. Faith is more than agreement with biblical truth—it is a daily commitment to trust and obey God, even when it costs something. Ultimately, the message calls listeners to choose wholehearted devotion to the God who has already proven Himself faithful and worthy of complete trust.
