DISCIPLESHIP [μαθητής – math-ay-tes’]
A disciple in the Bible comes from the word μαθητής (mathētēs) which means a ‘learner or pupil’. Disciples aren‘t born they are made. Jesus’ earliest disciples learned to walk like Him, teach like Him, love like Him, and serve like Him.
