Welcome Special Guest: Gary Grey
We are excited to have Pastor Gary Grey speaking for us in our services on Sunday. Dr. Gary Grey graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri in 1963 and retired from full time ministry in 2009. He faithfully pastored several churches in the states of Illinois, Colorado, and Missouri. He was vice president of Baptist Bible College, and also served as the President of the Baptist Bible Fellowship International. He and his wife, Carla, have been married for 60 years. They have 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Let’s make Dr. and Mrs. Grey feel welcome.
Volunteers Needed Hancock County Fair – Aug 30 – Sept 4
Nothing brings us into the fall months like the Hancock County Fair as families from all around gather to enjoy and compete. Our church will participate with a booth and would love for you to join us representing our church and our Savior to our County. You can help us pass out information about our church, encourage people to register to win a gift card, and engage in spiritual conversation as God allows. Registration to help for the event is in the lobby.
Awana Clubs Begins – Wed Sep 6
Children ages 3yrs – 5th grade will love our discipleship centered, high energy kids clubs every Wednesday at Trinity. Families can register there kids for clubs in the lobby or online at trinitybaptistfindlay.com/awana. Uniforms and books can be ordered in advance to prepare for club. Students Ministry Parent Meeting – Sun Sept 10
All parents and guardians of teens from 6th to 12th are invited to attend the TBC Student Ministry parent luncheon and meeting on Sunday, September 10. Right after the morning service, we will meet together in the teen room for lunch, followed by a brief overview of upcoming events as well as the vision for this year in our student ministry. This meeting will be a great opportunity to connect with the youth leaders, to learn about the structure and purpose of our youth group, and to see how God is working in and through our teens. We hope you can join us!
Missions Auction Baskets
As a church, we love investing in world-wide evangelism and do it in a fun way! Each year we have an auction and proceeds go to bless mission work across the globe. This year, we are asking each adult Sunday School class to put together a gift basket to be auctioned off. Baskets can be themed and/or contain a variety or handmade/newly purchased items. Baskets are due by Wednesday, October 4 and can be dropped off in the Ladies Class (Room 207).
